# Send emails from Siit

Send Siit emails from your company domain, either with a custom From name and address verified via Postmark or with a fully authenticated domain using DNS records

At Siit, we offer two main options for sending emails on behalf of your company domain. Each option has its own set of benefits and considerations. This article will help you understand both options and guide you through the implementation process.

With this option, you can personalize both the "From" name and email address. Here's a simple flow for implementing this option:

### 1. Provide Information "From" name and email address in the Email

### 2. Verification Step:

Once you will save your "From" name and email address, you will receive a verification email from Postmark.

You must follow the verification steps provided in the email to confirm their email address.

#### 💡Considerations

* Ease of Implementation: Requires no DNS records validation
* This method might affect the deliverability of emails because each sending email address needs to be individually verified.
* Recipients might see "via" tags in Gmail and "on behalf of" tags in Outlook.

### Fully-aligned Authenticated Domain

For a fully-branded and secure experience, you can authenticate using your company domain. This option requires additional steps for DNS records validation. Offers better deliverability due to DMARC alignment and domain reputation.

#### 1. DNS Record Setup:

You need to add specific DNS entries to their domain configuration to verify ownership.

#### 2. Reach Out for Approval

Contact your Siit Customer Success Manager to approve the domain once the DNS records are set up.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.siit.io/guides/request-management/request-and-service-management-email/send-emails.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
