# Connect HiBob

Connect HiBob to Siit by signing in with your HiBob admin credentials, no API token needed, to keep the People directory in sync and use HR dates in workflows

Connecting HiBob lets Siit keep your People directory up to date and use HR events like start dates and end dates in your workflows. You connect it by signing in with your HiBob account, no service user or API token needed.

#### What do I need before connecting?

* You must be an **admin in Siit** and an **admin in HiBob**.
* Make sure every active employee has a work email in HiBob. Siit uses it to match people across your tools.

#### How do I connect HiBob?

1. In Siit, go to **Settings > Workspace > Integration library**.
2. Find **HiBob** in the HR systems section and click **Connect**.
3. When asked how you’d like to authenticate, choose **Use my credentials (recommended)**.

#### What data can Siit read in HiBob?

Siit gets read access to employees, employments, time off, time off balances, groups, bank information and locations. Siit only reads data from HiBob and never edits anything in Bob.

#### Nothing happens when I click Open window. Why?

Your browser is probably blocking pop-ups. Allow pop-ups for Siit and click **Open window** again.

#### Some employees are missing in Siit. What can I check?

Make sure the employee has a work email in HiBob and is active or has an upcoming start date. If they still don’t show up, reconnect HiBob from the Integration library or contact our support team.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.siit.io/guides/integrations/integrations-hris/hibob-integration.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
